IE crashes when trying to set certain radio buttons in System Settings RRS feed

  • Dear forum,

    I have run into an issue that I am not sure is configuration related or a bug on CRM's part but want to check if anyone out there has experienced this and is aware of a solution.

    The current setup is CRM4, rollup 7, installed on Windows Server 2008, IIS7 and SQL server 2008.

    When I attempt to set the following radio buttons to true within System Settings, Internet Explorer crashes:

    • Marketing: Set "Do Not Send Marketing Material" option when unsubscribe e-mail is received
    • Outlook: Users Can Schedule Synchronization
    • Outlook: Users Can Schedule background local data synchronization
    • Outlook: Users can schedule background address book synchronization

    I also noticed this behaviour on a previous installation on rollup 6 last year (again on 2008/IIS7).
    The trace tool hasn't given me any clues.
    This behaviour happens on all forms of client.

    Any theories?

    I never had similar problem but for me it looks on IE client issue. What does it mean (This behaviour happens on all forms of client) ?
    You can check client on which you have a problem and every IE crush should have own entry hopefully with more information.
    I have installation on WS2008 and it doesn't have any problem.
    Maybe if you have problems on all client it's a IIS configuration (you can check also IIS logs) ?
