Upgrade to 10 from a factory bought computer leads to invalid product key?

-
Hi, I've searched the forums. I have a Dell Vostro laptop. Originally came with Win7. I upgraded to Win 8 and 8.1; things crashed. I worked with Dell and they sent another copy of Win 7 that we did a format and reinstall.
So, I have a Product Key from Win 7 PRINTED ON MY COMPUTER and it is telling me it is wrong.
Error Code:0xc004f050
I've run the MGA Diagnotic report, however the Copy button isn't functional and leads to it's own error report with error code hr=0x80070002
I've taken screenshots of both of these in order to post them here, and your forum says " Body text cannon contain images or links until we are able to verify your account." No instructions or email received to verify my account.
UPDATE: I actually did verify my account and I still can't upload pictures.

You MUST start the upgrade from within Windows - it then generates the activation code on install.

Sorry if I didn't explain fully, I did the normal upgrade to 10, I've done it on 3 other machines.
This one upgrade has a note in the lower right corner that activation is required. When you click to activate it gives me an error suggesting something is wrong with the Product Key. It allows you to input the Product Key at that point, and I've tried to several times. It simply blows my mind the Key is printed on the computer and it seems to be suggesting it is stolen or otherwise a bad Product Key.
Had no issues with my other Dells.
