  • First off, MCSE is base on Windows 2003.  I suggest you go with a more up to date certification like MCTS or MCTIP.  The MCITP (which is the closes replacement to MCSE) is technology based.  There are differenct requriements based on what technology you want to persue.  See the link for more info.

  • Additonally, knowing where you are currently at from an IT standpoint will help determine of the A+ and Net+ are applicable.  That is, do you understand the basics of computer hardware and networking basics?

  • Yep MCST or MCITP is the way to go now

Try 70 640 win 2008, as can go server or enterprise path also 70 680 Win 7 may be an option. Dependent on Skills

A+, N+ if you are new to IT
