Unable to install any Rollup RRS feed

  • I have tried to install Rollup 6 - 8.  I get the same result with each.

    ---------------------------
    Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Update
    ---------------------------
    Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server was not found on the system.

    My test environment is Windows 2008 R2 (64-bit).  The installation appears to be working, I can add Accounts, Contacts, products and can run reports.

    I am using RDP to log into the server to run the install.  I am a member of the local Administrator group and have been added to the Deployment Administrators group in Deployment Manager.

    I could really use some help.

  • That was the problem.  I assumed that the file with AMD64 in the name were for AMD processors and i386 was for Intel.

    are you shure, you have the right language of the updates? You must install the Rus in the same language, you have installed the crm.
