Hi all,
Can i use access database as Source for scribe software.
If yes/ not---?what should i follow to migrate data from Access database to crm.
We already installed scribe on our machine..and documented migration requirements.
please reply me immediately. It's urgent.

It seems that your choice is ODBC Data Sources - you can add you database there.

You link to a table in the Access DB using ODBC and then you create a mapping from the source (Access table) to the target (CRM). If you have multiple tables you create multiple mappings.
A more detailed response would require a detailed knowledge of the Access tables in question. It is like asking what the procedure is for passing data from Excel to CRM; you link and map them and press the button.
Scribe is quite a complex program for a novice user, you may want to google around for documentation regarding the basics.

You should be able to access the Access tables through the standard Microsoft connectors (OLE DB and the like). It is then a case of setting up the mapping in Scribe.

Hi Leon,
In our scribe source connect link,we are not able to find OLE DB link.
i am able to find following links only.
1.Adapters
2.Native databases
3.ODBC Data Sources
4.Text files
5.Xml
What should i follow to migrate data from access to crm.
please reply me immediately.it's urgent for me.

Can i connect Access database using ODBC Datasources link.
what is the procedure to migrate data from access to crm.

for eg: i have added field new_testfield to CRM account form,which is availabe in the Company Access table Company testfield.
