WGA Validation Problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Help Please,

This validation is getting irritating I understand the need for it, but for thos of us who have been running valid Winows XP systems to now have problems is really getting out of hand. I have had my system for approximately 3 and 1/2 years now and have changed out the case, added memory, changed the video card, added another hard drive but did nothing to the original operating system (Windows XP Professional OEM). Now I am being told the key is an invalid product key, even though I have the COA and CD both which are hologramed and match microsoft requirements.

    Below is my system information.

  • The product key you're currently using is not genuine - its a key generated volume (corporate) license key that is not slated for retail sale.

You can file a counterfeit report at www.microsoft.com/genuine (CLick Validate) then click "See all options" if you wish to submit for a high quality counterfeit report. Or you can purchase a genuine copy of WIndows XP there.
