    I have a problem installing Windows 7  on a Toshiba, with a 32-bit Windows 7 Pro CD. This does not happen with a Windows 7 home premium CD. The license is for Windows 7 Pro

    While Windows is loading files a DOS screen appears entitled "Administrator: X:\windows\system32\cmd32.exe" and the installation halts.
    In the DOS window:
    X:\windows\system32>wpeinit
    X:\ windows\system32>

    If I type 'EXIT' at the DOS prompt, THE DOS window closes and the system restarts. If I close the window with the mouse, the system restarts.

    I would assume you have a faulty media or the disk and drive are not compatible with each other.

    Closing thread anyway, since off topic here.
