e-learning offline player RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I am trying to download the microsoft e-learning offline player, the website says to first download the player, and then download the courses.

I have downloaded and installed the player, when I try and download the courses, I get a popup saying that I need to first install the player, and wont let me downlaod the course.

This is really frustrating, you would have thought microsoft believed somone doing one of these courses to be semi computer literate, so why put in a stupid check that 1. does not seem to function properly and 2. just over complicates the issue.

I have tried uninstalling the player, re-downloading it, installing as administrator, etc etc with no success.

I dont know why microsoft made this so complicated, any other program on the internet you can just download the files and get a program to run said files after, why do microsoft have to be different and also make a mess of it in the process?

Does anyone know how to get around this issue?

    Thanks.
