Korean ver of Samsung Jack 3 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I bought a Korean version of Samsung SCH-M480 or Samsung Jack 3 from a guy, he said he bought it from ebay. I never realized thatit was in korean language or the ROM is in Korean.

My question is, is there anyway I can change the language from Korean to English so that it is easier for me to use the phone.

  • Generally no. Typically there's no overlap between the resources on a phone targetting an asian market and a phone targetting a western market (I tried and eventually gave up on finding a Windows phone with both asian and english support).  While there may exists an English ROM on Samsung's site their ROMs tend to be locked to ensure they can only be applied against a device manufactured for the same market that the ROM is targetting.

It takes all the running you can do to stay in one place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must try to run at least twice as fast as that.
