Set CRM language according to Window's sstem language RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

    A simple question.

I have a CRM deployment which serve users in both Mexico and in the USA. I have two languages available in Dynamics CRM: Spanish and English.

What I would like to know if there is a way to default the Dynamics CRM language to the user's operating system language. So when users from Mexico open CRM it shows the interface in Spanish by default, while users from USA shows English by default.

    Is this possible?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Regards,
    P.

  • I don't think it is possible out of the box...

Now, if you know who is working where, you should be able to modify user settings (either with .Net code or SQL query - which is unsupported) to specify their default language

  • I agree with Tanguy T. There is only possible to do by .net application or sql direct edition. SQL option is much faster but is unsupported. You can use also a Powershell and connect via webserivce but it's the same efford like .net application.
