    Help! I know I may be in the wrong forum but I have been travelling around the microsoft universe for the last hour and a half looking for help with my IM service. I think I have a problem and I can't find anywhere to go with it for help.

     

    Problem: I keep getting a pop-up alert that says my friend has just signed in but when I open it up there is no-one there. Further, when her IM box is open it only shows links to spam sites.

     

    She says she doesn't use IM anymore so it is opening up into my computer somewhow via someone else using her account. I have tried using MSNCleaner but it shows no files have been found.Any security sweeps that I do on my system shows nothing.

     

    Why would this be happening
