Attribute-Subject of Ticket RRS feed

  • yesterday donna was a big help, hopefully soon I will be able to answer some questions.

    Any hoot. I have a picklist to choose from in this attribute. But I cannot see the picklist to add things

    I went into cstomization, Ticket Entity, Attribute Subject of Ticket

    I cannot add or change the lookup

  • Hi,

    Are you referring to the Out of box Subject or a custom picklist related to your Ticket entity?  Also, what type is the Subject attribute? Picklist or Lookup?  If it's a lookup, you need to look into your relationship.  If it's just a picklist, you should able to modify it through entity customization.  

    Lastly, if it's a build in Subject, you have to change it in Settings | Business Management | Subjects.

  • Hi.

    To add a lookup to entity you have to create 1:N relationship between your entity and some entity to be used as an reference in lookup field. In this relation your entity had to be child entity.

  • Custom Picklist.

    In the original ticket you can click on subject. I want to add a subject lookup.
    For instance currently have complaint and then a list of complaint topics, I want to add a service complaint.

    Hope I am making sense.
