  • Anyone???  What are the requirements for publishing scripts in technet gallery? It looks like that my account don't have permissions to post it. Can anyone help?

  • We have had so much spam in the TechNet Gallery lately. I wonder if the admins have done something to prevent new users from posting contributions. Maybe a minimum number of recognition points. But fissues would probably know.

  • Thank you Richard and Dave,

Could be Richard. I sent mail to fissues so let's see what the reason is.

  • I just checked the TechNet Gallery (I haven't in awhile). I am clearly wrong about any admin efforts to reduce the spam. All you need to do is sort the posts by Release Date. More than 90% of new submissions are ads for OST to PST converters or similar third party tools, or supposed support phone numbers. Many of the authors have some points, but some have zero. It is a mess.

  • I report them all the time and the MSDN/TechNet accounts get banned but then they usually don't bother to cleanup the gallery unless you specifically mention it.

  • Hi Guys,

No one replied yet from fissues team. I hope that they will answer soon? I thought first that I need to choose different license agreement and I tried with both TechNet Terms of Use and MIT but nothing worked and I saw that users are using TechNet Terms of Use when publishing new scripts. After I thought that my account is not verified and now it is but still not working.

  • I'd reply again asking to confirm they received or also ask for an update.
