Switch to MS CRM as functional Consultant

Question
-
Hi Members,
I have been working on core .NET Technologies (.NET Framework 3.5, C# 3.0, ASP.NET 2.0, WCF Services) as a web developer from past 4 years. I want to make a move towards CRM as Functional consultant. I am aware of the roles and responsibilities of a CRM consultant from periphery but want to explore the side from a professional career point of view. Kindly suggest how to start for getting into this. What entry moves should i make to start ahead to become a MS CRM professional?
I would highly appreciate the response to this query.
Regards,
Vidit Malik

HI,
Good decision, you have good market and future will be good in the Dynamics CRM for both functional and technical. I would suggest you to go as technical consultant because you have good experience in the .net, for CRM technical part we work on .NET. To understand the CRM functional and technical concepts.
You can go through the following URl which will be helpful to you for learning CRM 2011
