Big Al G, I responded to your other thread here - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2890095&SiteID=2
However, if you mean that you contacted support, but got no response, please post your case ID here for review.
I was away for the past week (sick), but learned that the 2002 error you encountered when trying to renew is because you are signing in with a different LiveID than the one for your subscription. Open OneCare and click Help/About to see your Subscription LiveID. That is the ID to use for signing in at http://billing.microsoft.com to perform the renewal.

I am having the same problem as Big Al G. I get the error message 2002 when I try to renew. I have a Live ID and log in but I keep getting this error message. When I try to get support I get a nother message saying that I have no billing relationship with microsoft, but it does not tell me where to go to set up one. It gives me a link to join msn which takes me to my hotmail account. Grrrrr. I have been going around in circles for days with the help assistant but keep hitting a dead end with no option of actually speaking to a human to sort this problem out. I am at the point of cancelling my subscription and even ditching my hotmail account which I have held for ten years.
I'll be getting a Mac next time.Sunday, March 16, 2008 7:48 PM -
Error - 2002 is caused when a wrong LiveId is used to renew.
Solution
- Navigate to OneCare Help -> Click About Windows Live OneCare -> Take note of the Subscription ID that is listed here
- Renew with the Subscription ID

Sorry Anand - it does not work with the correct LiveID. God knows I have tried.
Am waiting for a response from Microsoft by email.
If anyone else has a problem you can email csfeed@microsoft.com or phone 0870 60101003 (UK Customers only) from 8am to 6pm.Monday, March 17, 2008 9:14 PM -
Please let us know the results, Chris D, as the 2002 error typically means exactly what Anand reported - the incorrect LiveID was used to log in for renewal.
Have you tried logging in directly at http://billing.microsot.com?
