CRM Install Security Account

Hey guys,

I have a 2 part question. First is what is the difference between a Network Service Account and a Domain User Account? If I go through the Install check using the NEtwork Service Account as my security account I get no Warnings when I am ready to install CRM.

When I choose Domain User Account (Which is what I think I want to use) and use telosadmin (which is a valid user account in the Domain) I get this warning "

Verify Domain User account SPN for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM ASP.NET Application Pool account."

How do I add the telosadmin account so that I don't get this error? Thanks in advance for any help.

If you installing on Windows 2008 you will need to use the Network Service Account http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950100/en-gb. The network Service Account is a built in Windows account , read more here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms684272(VS.85).aspx.

A SPN is required to allow Kerberos authenication and a domain user by default does not have a Service Principal Name (SPN), though Network Service does. Read more here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff649309.aspx

Thanks I read those articles before. My worry is when I am logged into Microsoft CRM using telosadmin account and I try to run a Report am I going to run into Authorization Errors?
