However, when I launch any progam from Office, they all say they have been activated. I ran your diagnostic MGA tool and here are the results:

  • Hello RespeKt,

Is there a specific need that you need to have 2 Office Suites installed on your machine?  I would recommend uninstalling the Office Suite for which you do not need as this should resolve your issue.  Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks for the quick response Matt. However, isn't my Outlook 2002 part of my Office XP Small Business? The 2007 Office Home & Student doesn't include Outlook. If I uninstall Office XP SB, will it uninstall Outlook? Thanks.

  • Hello Mark,

Yes that is correct, Microsoft does not recommend running multiple versions of Office simultaneously, but it is possible to install and use more than one version on a single computer.  Attached is a Knowledge Base (KB) article describing problems you may encounter and offers advice on preventing different versions of Office from conflicting with each other should you require both Office Suite versions:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290576/en-us.
