Certification to Start RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have completed my B.Tech in CSE with 7.14 GPA June 2012, and since December 2012 I am working as part of QA team in top MNC in India.
I have good knowledge of C, CPP, VB, Core and Adcanced Java, C#, ASP.NET and Oracle 10g (I have attended the courses of all above) and I am interested in development field.
Most of the certification exams require some experience and many certifications are about to retire. So, which certifcation should I do to get into the web/ application develoment field?

  • To get int the web/application development field, I suggest that you pursue the "MCSD: Web Applications" certification.

This is the latest version of the Microsoft certifications for Web development, and is not about to expire any time soon.

You will require knowledge about HTML, javascript, CSS, ASP.NET (including MVC), web services and Azure.

  • Hi,
Is it necessary to have some experience to earn MCSD ceritification? as I am part of QA team after the college, I don't have experience in HTML and ASP.NET.

But I am good at both.

  • Having experience is recommended but not required. You can certainly obtain a certification on a technology that you know well, even if you have not worked professionally on that technology.
