Even if check contents is checked, files on FAT32 with daylight-saving-time issues are overwritten RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have copied some 50,000 files on an SD Card with FAT32 as a backup device I can always carry in my wallet when travelling. However, the files seem to have a modification date wrong by 1 hour suddenly, probably due to daylight-saving-time issues. The FAQ suggests to do a sync with "Check file Contents" - I did so, takes a long time, and still wants to overwrite some 19,000 files. A better description how daylight-saving-time issues arise and what SyncToy does to solve them would be highly appreciated.
