how to copy a value from option set from one form to option set of another form in CRM 2011? RRS feed

    Hi,

    On qualifying lead I have to copy value from option set from lead entity to option set field on company entity. 

    But I am not able to do this through dialog. Is there any other way?

    Hi,
       If I understood correctly, you are trying to copy one optionset value from lead to account(company) on qualifying the lead. If so, you can do it using Mapping feature. Open 1:N relationship of Lead and Account entity in the entity customizations area. Go to mappings and select source field from lead and destination field from account. Make sure that both optionsets has same no. of options.

    Keep in mind that the option sets have to be equal - in best case you use a global option set for both entities!
