    I have a pretty long list of folder pairs I'd like to copy to another user account.  Does anyone know how to do it?  Thanks

    there is no officially supported way of doing this other than manually creating the Folder Pairs on the new account.

     

    I am not advising or recommending anyone do this, but just thinking out loud that if you wanted to copy...

     

    on Vista the path is:

    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\SyncToy\2.0\SyncToyDirPairs.bin

     

    on XP the path is:

    %UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\SyncToy\2.0\SyncToyDirPairs.bin

     

    to the new account (which you might have to manually create the \Microsoft\SyncToy\2.0 directory if you have not already installed SyncToy)

     

    it might save you some time recreating Folder Pairs. user assumes all risk.
