OCS R2 Resource Kit? RRS feed

  • Question

  •
Hi - I've installed the OCS R2 trial.

With OCS R1, I used to use the LCSAddContacts.wsf file that came with the resource kit to add contacts to my users.

I cannot seem to find the OCS R2 resource kit - all the links for it lead back to the original OCS R1 resource kit...

I read on the net people saying the tools in the resource kit have been updated - and the original one is dated 2007.

Does anyone know where I can download the newer resource kit from?

    Thanks

  • Paul,

The OCS 2007 R2 Resource Kit Tools are now available for download.

If you are interested, the actual OCS 2007 R2 Resource Kit (hardcopy book) should come with the RK Tools but is still not available the last I checked.

    Hope this helps.

  • I believe we was referring to the Resource Kit Tools (and not the actual reference book).  The tools themselves will be available much sooner than the book.

Excellent - thank you - I did just need the tools right now.

I did buy the first book when I saw it on a shelf - if I see the second one around I'll pick it up.

    Thanks again,

    Paul

  • You may use   (OCSCM) Microsoft Office Communications Server Contact Manager. It's an administration mmc tool that will integrate with Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007 and Active Directory to provide an easy way to provision OCS users’ contacts list.   OCSCM is designed to show you how to manage the contacts and groups for individual ocs users by interacting with the Active Directory Domain Services and Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007/R2 and lcs 2005.
