Multitude of problems after recent update

Question
-
I've noticed quite a few posts relating problems in the forums occurring over the last few hours - I've also seen a few others, including:
- Sorting doesn't appear to be working properly, at least not in "My Threads" or "My Forums", though it does appear correct within a single forum's view
- Reply/Quote inline works about 50% of the time, and about 50% of the time opens a new page with the reply shown as HTML
- Insert code is showing correctly most of the time, but occasionally showing CSS tags directly instead of "real" content
- Opening threads inline works about 80-90% of the time, but fails (almost like the thread was deleted) about 10-20% of the time
- Alerts seem to be broken, or at least not functioning fully
The sorting issues are, IMO, the most serious. This makes it very difficult to follow up and help people, as there's no way to easily see who is or isn't responding to posts...

•Sorting doesn't appear to be working properly, at least not in "My Threads" or "My Forums", though it does appear correct within a single forum's view
There were some issues on the back end that we had to correct. We think this should be resolved at this point.
•Reply/Quote inline works about 50% of the time, and about 50% of the time opens a new page with the reply shown as HTMLThis is a known issue, we are working on a fix now. But likely would be addressed mid next week at the earliest.
•Insert code is showing correctly most of the time, but occasionally showing CSS tags directly instead of "real" content
We have a repro on this, and this problem has existed for a while. We are looking at fixes around this for the next release. We are updating the editor to a more recent version (current one very outdated) and we are going to see if this issue goes away. If not, we'll then look at a coding fix.
•Opening threads inline works about 80-90% of the time, but fails (almost like the thread was deleted) about 10-20% of the time
There are a few reasons this can happen. Usually, this is in a case where a thread is opened and it was created on a different brand. So in the My Forum Threads list, it consolidates threads from across different brand and if the thread is from MSDN (for example) by you are looking at the My Forum Threads in TechNet, the MSDN threads fail to open. We have a bug on this for a long time but have had too many other bugs in the way. I expect to get this fixed relatively soon. This can also happen if there are script missalignments in the cache, usually during a deployment when servers have different versions of the client scripts being send down to the browsers. We had a deployment last night so maybe this is part of the problem. It shouldn't be happening now though. If it is, likely it is the 'known issue' of cross brand threads. You can also try cleansing the cache/history and see if that has any impact.
•Alerts seem to be broken, or at least not functioning fully
We did have an alerts outtage early morning but it should be resolved now.
•My Forum Threads "no replies" filter not working
I'm not able to repro this now, it may have been temporary related to the My threads data aggregation fixes.

Brent,
Another one - the "No Replies" option doesn't appear to be working. It includes many results that have 3+ replies (where the latest was reported hours ago)...

I'm not seeing this one. What view are you using, the my threads or when viewing a forum?

It seems like it works in "My Threads" or within a specific, but not in "My Forums Threads". In "My Forums Threads" you get threads with many replies.

Brent,
Thanks for being so on top of this - it looks like most of these issues have been corrected (only the reply/quote inline one seems to keep happening). The "Opening Threads" issue wasn't the cross brand threads, but rather inside of the same brand, btw. Its not happening to me now. Everything got much better a few minutes ago ;)

I'm editing one right now. ; ]
So, I have to end my lines with p or br. I'll ignore not getting the spacing I want because I'm not using nbsp. ; ]
BTW perhaps it is only a coincidence but I only started noticing this since I got the IE9 RC update. <eg>
I'm not going to bother with a signature in raw HTML source mode. ; ]
