I cleaned up the application data after uninstalling the SyncToy 2.0 on my XP pro SP 2 system. I then reinstalled and get the same failure. Any other ideas that might help?

Can you provide some additional details about the failure you are getting? Are you getting error messages when you start SyncToy? Did you remove the contents from this directory, and then re-install SyncToy?

Yes, I uninstalled SyncToy 2.0 from the add/remove programs. I then cleaned up the directory on my windows XP system. I then installed SyncToy 2.0 again and when I launch it from the Start-->Programs... it fails to start I was able to find additional information on the failure this time but it means nothing to me.
