Windows Mobile and Windows Mail....

Question
-
It is a load of *** that you can't sync windows mobile with the provided windows mail, contacts, calendar on windows vista. Considering that outlook was removed from the microsoft office suite in large part due to the windows mail addition. Now after I finally put the money down to get a pda, I have to go spend another $100 for a program I don't need just so that I can do with my pda what I intended it to do and bought it to do. Why is it this way? Just because "you don't offer it" well why not!! I know it's not because it is complicated, it is so you can rip off your loyal customers who chose the windows mobile software over other competitors.

I work in the technical support at Sybase iAnywhere which recently released "XTNDConnect PC Data Transfer" which can transfer Vista contacts, calendar and tasks both to and from Nokia, SonyEricsson and Windows Mobile phones (you can also migrate data to and from other applications like Outlook and Lotus Notes as well).

Yes - I can see how this will disappoint many people. It used to be that a copy of OUTLOOK 2002 was provided with a device.Tuesday, April 15, 2008 4:43 AMModerator

I share the thread starter's pain. MS have a great set of apps with the live suite & it would make real sense to sync with mobile, much more so than a five year old outlook.
I've have outlook but recently moved to windows live mail/calendar as I found Outlook overkill for what I need.
Give us sync with live!
(please
)

I cant believe you cant sync with Windows Mail! Do I really have to pay for Outlook just to sync with my phone?
Please reassure us that this is under development at least!
Frustrated and skint in England!
