I recently had to rebuild my OS (Visat Ultimate) and reinstall OneCare.
I then went to my old OneCare Backup and tried to restore about 350Gb of data to the new C: Drive. When starting the restore, I received a prompt stating something like "those files relating to programs not installed will be copied to "I: Drive" That appeared straight forward, as I figured that the process would create a new virtual I: Drive on my HDD. so I would have both a C: drive and a virtual I: Drive
When the restore finished, I could no longer see my C: Drive, but had a I: Drive. It appears that the OneCare restore renamed C: to I:. Problem now is the OS will no longer bootup, as it is expecting to see C
rive which does not exist. Any Ideas?
