Couple UI quirks while using Live Mesh (from the Windows XP side of things and -not- from the Live Desktop)...
1. I added a file in the wee hours of the morning (12:48am, to be precise) and the Live Mesh Sync notification area attached to that windows XP folder shows that the file was added at "0:48AM". Simple UI display problem.
2. Another UI quirk is that when I have my Win XP taskbar set to auto-hide, if it hides while I have the dialog window open (after clicking in its system tray icon), the whole window moves after the taskbar totally hides. It is annoying to have the window jump like this. I think that whereever the window opens, it ought to stay there regardless of taskbar activity.
Otherwise, I'm syncing quite a bit across 2 machines and so far so good. I'm very interested to see where all this is going. I can see a number of directions, actually.
Lastly, I'm not sure if this is the right place to leave feedback for Live Mesh so please let me know if there is a more appropriate spot. Thanks.Sunday, May 18, 2008 4:48 PM

I don't know about #1, but I have the same issue on Vista Ultimate.

This is indeed a good place for feedback as the Mesh team is quite visible here. If you are active in Live Mesh in Connect, you can also provide bug reports there and vote on or validate bugs others have already reported.

Hi ewolf72,
We have received a few reports lately about strange/unwanted behavior with the Live Mesh notifier and taskbar auto-hide. In the other cases that I'm aware of, however, the Live Mesh notifier disappears altogether when the taskbar auto-hides. If you wouldn't mind, could you please submit a bug report on this issue, so that the team can look into it more thoroughly?
Thank you for testing Live Mesh!
Ben.
