Just trying to renew expired subscription RRS feed

  • I am just trying to renew my subscription.  It says have the incorrect live Id, I am typing what it says it is, but it says it is incorrect.  Also, I do not know my password.

    The Live ID might be correct but if you dont know the password, you will also not be able to use the Live ID. You can reset your password by sending yourself a password reset e-mail message or answering your secret question.

     

    Go to https://billing.microsoft.com

    1. In the sign-in box, click Forgot your password?
    2. In the E-mail address box, type the e-mail address or the Live ID.
    3. Type the characters that you see in the Picture box, and then click Continue.
    You can select either one of the two options to reset the password.
    a. Answer your secret question

    -you'll need to provide account informations, ZIP or postal codes, Country/Region, and answer for your secret question.

    b. Send an e-mail message to your alternate email address (if you have specified one)

     

    If you're unsuccessful in resetting the password, or still having some problem, contact support.

  • I'm having the same problem, what did you do to renew?  Maybe they don't want our business

    What is the "same" problem?
