Extremely bad customer service and lack of consideration and compassion Microsoft? RRS feed

  • I had a hotmail account since 2015 which i used for business purposes and Social Media. I had a beautiful dedicate  page on Twitter which my hotmail account was linked into. During my time on Twitter , my account was compromised on a few occasions -which i was asked to verfiy my hotmail address to retrieve my account. Which i did and all was great. The last time it happened , i was asked to verify my details via a link that was sent to my hotmail account.

    When i tried to log in with my correct password, i discovered my hotmail account was also compromised. I tried to contact Microsoft to verify my personal information- which i did and each time was told the details i supplied where incorrect , despite the fact some of the information i had evidence for . I called Microsoft who spent days and days just messing me around - they did not call me back when they promised too . I was sent around in circles. I went online chat and was messed around by multple people . When i tried to set up another hotmail account ( with the similar name )Microsoft blocked it . When i explained what had happened Twitter was trying to be understanding but said the Microsoft is preventing me from retrieving my Twitter account and there was nothing they could do. I spent a lot of time and effort creating my twitter page and the insensitive , heartless way in which Hotmail dealt with the whole thing is absolutely disgusting. I would like to know why you have chosen to treat people in such a manner? I know you have a duty to protect data but this is surely a case of abuse. I have tried to be co-operative at every stage of the way , but you chose to be cruel . I have done nothing wrong .
