crm 2011 installation error RRS feed

    i am installing crm 2011 and getting the following errors. i made sure i am an administrator on the crm server an database server

    please help

  • Are you logged in as a domain user who is also a sysadmin on SQL Server and a local administrator on the CRM Server

  • Can you post the whole log.

    What version of SQL are you installing against

    Can you check that there isn't an MSCRM_CONFIG database already on the SQL instance

  • Can you try copying the file Msxmlsql.dll from your SQL Server media?

    From: \x64\Setup\sql_engine_core_shared_msi\PFiles\SqlServr\100\Shared 

    To: \Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Shared

  • im installing SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise. i also have deleted all MS_CONFIG databases on the SQL Instance

  • This looks like a SQL issue rather than a CRM one. If the SQL Server is running on Windows 2003 (or 2000), then this article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941105 ) may help
