Install Communicator 2007 R2 Mobile on Windows Mobile 6.1.4 Emulator

Question
-
Recently I tried to install the latest Communicator Mobile 2007 R2 version on the Windows Mobile 6.1.4 emulator.
The previous version installs without any problems.
unfortunately the installation went without success. After running the *.msi file the following error message appears
"Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile does not support the connected device type. Application Manager will make the application available for installation when a supported device type is connected."
Does somebody knows why this error message appear or did the R2 install with success?

You do have 2 different versions of the COMO client PPC or SP:
Did you try this one PPC (this is the most common I use all the time)

or this one SP
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=93062936-F216-4D97-AA13-105A20454322&displaylang=en
If it still fails then try to copy the installation files (not the msi) to the mobile device and retry the install

Thanks, I didn't know there where 2 different versions of the COMO client.
After downloading the PPC version, I could install the client. Everything runs fine!
