Validation issue with Office2007 RRS feed

  • Question

I have a copy of Office Professional 2007 and am unable to download templates offered in MS Word, citing a validation problem. My copy has been vaidated, but also it is stated:

Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007:
    Validation Failed

No valid Office key was detected. This is a strong indication that the Office product installed is not genuine.

First off, I would like to point out that I was given this copy by Microsoft, from the Microsoft Store at the corporate headquarters, so it SHOULD be genuine.  Second, I have a copy of Office that is more complete, and was never informed I might require a less complete version to enable these features.

     As far as the report:

  • Hello Renjirou,

It appears your are receiving a 104 Unknown PID error which could be a result of a trial/beta version of Office installed on your machine.  I would recommend making sure you completely uninstall any beta/trial versions of Office then attempt to re validate your copy of Office.  It also appears the MGA diagnostic results have been edited, if you are sure you do not have any trial versions of Office currently installed please rerun the MGA diagnostic tool and repost the complete results so we may fully analyze your situation and provide a resolution to your problem.

    Thank you,
