Live ID won't validate

One Care won't allow me to use my hotmail account to register my new purchase. When I enter my hotmail address and normal password it returns error 80070005. Signing in unsuccessful because of an error.

How can I get past this issue?

To the best of my knowledge, that error indicates a problem with permissions, so you will likely need help from support to resolve it.
