Urgent assistance needed to retrieve files RRS feed

  • My Microsoft Office Outlook will not open.  I was prompted to check to see if my software was genuine.  The Windows checked through as genuine, but when asked to validate Office, it seems it does not pass the test.  I am surprised, but willing to invest further to get genuine software.  My question is this:
    I use Microsoft Office Outlook extensively for work.  On it is stored emails, files and attachments from the past three years.   If I purchase the new Office software, is there any way to retrieve the files/emails from the presently closed-down version?  It is essential that I do so as soon as possible.
