DbSyncProvider[peer-peer]: Value does not fall within the expected range. RRS feed

     "   at Microsoft.Synchronization.CoreInterop.ISyncKnowledge.SetLocalTickCount(UInt64 ullTickCount)\r\n   at Microsoft.Synchronization.SyncKnowledge.ISyncKnowledgeImpl.SetLocalTickCount(UInt64 ullTickCount)\r\n   at Microsoft.Synchronization.SyncKnowledge.SetLocalTickCount(UInt64 localTickCount)\r\n   at Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.DbSyncProvider.GetScope(DbSyncSession DbSyncSession)\r\n   at Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.DbSyncProvider.GetSyncBatchParameters(UInt32& batchSize, SyncKnowledge& knowledge)\r\n   at Mycompany.Service.SyncService.GetKnowledge(UInt32& batchSize, SyncKnowledge& knowledge)"

    This happens only when syncknowledge increased to 4 digits.  in this case sync_scope_knowledge was  4973

    Could you provide some more context on when you see this issue occur?  What is the SelectNewTimestampCommand you have set on your provider?

  • The message is a generic one that comes from System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException.

    An argument is not in the expected range it seems.

    When you say, sync knowledge insreased to 4 digits, do you mean the tick count?

    Could elaboarte a little more?
