Question
-
So i turned my computer on today and I had some crazy error telling me I needed to restore my computer. So i did the restore to factory settings option and restored it. I then downloaded and installed the updates. Now my windows is not validated. i have an hewlett packard dv600 laptop. after the updates were installed it said aero could not work and i may not be genuine. I restarted my computer and I got no error message althgouth a super slow re-start. Just the bottom right hand screen says my copy of windows is not genuine? What the heck is going on?
my results are as follows

Good Morning Andy,
Thank you for posting with us today :-). From what I see all appears well. Do you have an anti-virus program installed? If so please check for possible virus's. Also I encourage you to use the ‘Windows Live Safety Scan for Windows Vista’ (http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm) before contacting PC Safety.PC Safety:
http://www.microsoft.com/protect/support/default.mspx
Let us know if your system has a virus. Also restart your computer and provide us with one more MGA Diagnostic results.
Thank you Andy
Stephen
