Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7600 - this copy of windows is not genuine

Question
-
Hi,
I installed windows 7 ultimate upgrade version over Vista in December, and everything has been working fine until last week when I started getting the illegal copy message popping up.
I bought the download copy from Microsoft Certified reseller - Software4Students
They seem to think that the only answer is to reinstall Vista, then reinstall Windows 7. this seems like a royal pain in the ass....and there must be a better solution.
Can someone from Microsoft please take a look and give me a solution that doesn't involve a world of pain.
I have run the MGAD tool and have the following output:

Hi Paul,
For some reason my tool is having a problem reading the Diagnostic Report so is unable to give me any information regarding the Product Key.
I recommend talking to a Activation Rep, by following the below Activate by Phone steps, they would be able to look up the key using the full Product Key (I could do that too except you Do Not want to post your full Product key in a public forum).
To Activate by Phone:
Click the Start button, and type: slui 4 in the search field and then press the "Enter" key. This will bring up the Activate by Phone dialog window. Follow the steps provided by the window.
Sorry I couldn't be more help,

Reinstalling will not work - your Key has been b;locked for some reason....Hopefully, Darin will be able to tell us why.
