  • Hi,

Thank you for posting MSDN forum.

According to the description, the issue is related to visual studio installation issue.  According to my search, the extended support end date of 2005 VC++ is 4/12/2016 .

For more information, please refer to this document.

I suggest that you can upgrade to the latest Visual Studio.

    Best Regards,

  • Hello,

I can download from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5638

Or here is the file: https://download.microsoft.com/download/e/1/c/e1c773de-73ba-494a-a5ba-f24906ecf088/vcredist_x86.exe

    Regards, Guido

There is a difference between install of the VC2005 Redistributable and VC2005. The redist is free available, VC2005 should not be available for download.

In general VC2005 is really old, and I would not expect a successful setup on Windows 10. If you have a MSDN subscription you can get VS2010. Most projects made with VC2005 should compile with VS2010. And also VS2010 may be tricky to install on Win10

    Best regards
