[Feature Request] Relevent Paper Visualization RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm looking for a visualization of the relevant track of research. How I think it should work:

A User uploads a .bib file containing the meta data for multiple papers.

This search query generates a DAG image in euclidean space where the Y axis represents # of citations (or other measure of paper value) and the X axis represents time. The graph should include all shared references and citations and additional overlapping references and citations as deemed appropriate by the search heuristics.

Beneath this image would be links to each of the displayed papers as you would see in normal search result. However, each item will also include a check box. At top and bottom of the page would be a button to 'Expand Search' adding each of the checked items to the search list (from the .bib file).

This would be monumentally helpful in exploring the research space. Thanks,
