    I have been trying to install windows live onecard on my Dell computer for 2 hours now and continue to get the same error message.  I have been through all of the help sections and still get the same error   0023-80070001.  Can anyone help me with this install?

    If you have any other antivirus or antispyware programs installed they must be uninstalled prior to One Care installation. If you had Norton or McAfee installed go to the vendor website and run their uninstall tool. Go to Windows Update and install any updates marked critical or important. Install One Care.     Error 0023 means that a pre-requisite critical update is failing to install while OneCare is installing. Jim's advice to go to Windows update and update with all critical updates is the way to go.
