"My Threads" not up to date

Question
-
In the previous forums platform the "My Threads" area was never more than 5 minutes behind. In this new platform, i've noticed it sometimes takes hours before it updates. using the search feature is also no help as it produces no results.
Is the "My Threads" dynamically generated based on TechNet's search index? That would explain why both methods are so behind. If so, why is the index so slow? I would expect things to be better and faster with the new platform - not worse.

Hans, we are on the tail end of the 4.0 release path. Can you give me the details of the unread issue you are having or point me to the thread on it (I seem to recall there being one). I will then try to look into in the 4.0 stuff and let you know something either way.
Thanks!

The aggregator job issue was fixed and restarted around 9am PST this morning. The fix for the underlying issue that has been killing the aggregator job is scheduled to be pushed in the next few hours.

Good to know its not just me!
- Is this environment on Hyper-V? I head Technet is now on there, and wondering if this is part of it. Just curious - not suggesting its the cause.
- There are a lot more features in this environment, which are nice, but I'd rather have stability over flashiness!

The My Threads issue is actively being worked on. It's probably still a few weeks out as we're opting for a better overall solution to the My-pivoted data and other stuff located within that DB.
Yes, a lot of the backend servers are Hyper-V.

This is unacceptable. Its been a month now since you've suggested the issue is being worked on. It still takes nearly a day to see an updated "my threads" list. I enjoy helping people on these forums when I can but not having a reliable way to track my work makes it impossible to followup properly.
This forums platform migration gets a big FAIL in my book. Something that used to work fast and reliably now is a bloated and under supported platform.

yes. it's annoying to us too. The aggregator job broke Saturday at 2am PST. The appropriate people are working on getting it started and a more permanent fix is to go live early this week (hopefully tomorrow).
