    I am getting an error message:  "Urgent: Unable to set up ports for monitoring machines. If the problem persists, contact support."

     

    I am signed up with the OneCare perpetual beta.

     

    My version is 2.0.2284.28 (but it does not say Beta). 

     

    Any help much appreciated.

    Al, if you are in the perpetual beta, you should be on v 1.6 and all discussions for the perpetual beta are via the private newsgroup - information available when signed in on the Connect web site.

     

    That said, the error you are encountering is related to multi-PC management and has been reported as happeneing when attempting to set up a hub PC and, in one case, for unknown reasons on a PC not configured as a hub. Please file a bug on Connect - https://connect.microsoft.com/site/sitehome.aspx?SiteID=168 and include the support logs as explained on Connect.
