Slow response after proposing an answer RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I've noticed today that I'm getting very slow response after proposing an answer. Usually when I read a thread and see a good suggestion, I click on it to propose and go to a next thread. Today it seems very slow and I got an error a few times when I was trying to go back to the forum.

    Other operations seem OK.

UPDATE. Posting this question also took ~ 10+ seconds.

  • Posting seems ok to me. I know we had slowness during last Thurs/Fri when the notification services was catching up, sucking system resources and impacting post time.

  • Right now it seems OK. In the morning the performance of marking an answer was slow.

  • Yeah, hopefully we can minimize this ongoing. But this may happen from time to time. We are continuing to make small changes to minimize this but getting rid of this sort of thing completely will take time.

  • I have the same problem right now.

In this thread http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/transactsql/thread/61270f08-2a08-4796-936f-faf2c4bca4cc I want to mark all answers as answers and also give everyone a plus vote, but I've tried 5 times already and I always get an error.

    I'll re-try again now.
