• Question

  • Hi,

I have the following issue. When we raise a phone call, it sends a reminder for the DUE DATE. This is fine, the only issue is that we do not want an Outlook reminder if the due date is an old one....

An example to clarify. I have some users entering the phone calls today, for calls they have actually made yesterday. So they enter Yesterday as the Due Date. In this case they are just tracking the phone call with delay, but they do not want the reminder clearly, as the phone call has already been made!  But Outlook sends it anyway.

And I do not want to switch all the Outlook reminders off, because for the phone calls to make in the future, where they enter a future due date, they want the reminder!

Can anyone let me know how to solve this?

    Thanks, regards

  • I would encourage your users to not enter a past due date.

Or you could try adjusting the user's Outlook <> CRM sync filters so that past phone calls do not sync to Outlook.
