Map created in Streets & Trips 2008 will not open properly in Streets & Trips 2011 RRS feed

    I had streets & trips 2008 installed and updated to Streets & Trips 2011, one of the maps which had thousands of sites would not open properly in 2011. It did not show all sites and would not open select sites.  So I kept both versions on computer to access this one main map.  While 2008 was open we had power failure, afer restart that program would no longer open.  Tried running disk to correct errors, which said was successful then tried uninstalling and reinstalling however program would still not open.  2011 version will open but cannot access map properly. Any suggestions how to convert file to open in 2011?

    Hi Sylvia,

    It's good that you kept the original 2008 file. Sometimes we don't anticipate issues, and we convert a file to a new version without keeping a backup.

    Do you have another computer you could install both, the 2008 and 2011 versions? If yes, after installing both, open them both. Open the 2008 file, and in the Legend & Overview pane copy your pushpin set, then paste it to 2011 window.

    If the above copy/paste doesn't do it, then try the conversion again (open the 2008 file in 2011 program).
