boot order in hp compac dc7900 small form factor

Answers

  • Its dependent on the hardware, not windows so I'd probably ask HP. You can always ask general windows questions over here.

  • hi all,

waht is default boot order in hp compac dc7900 small form factor?

and what is it, before and after installation of windows 8.1 ?

HP contracts or build the compac computers. Whatever Bios they install they factory set the boot order probably.

Why would an installation of an OS alter a boot order? No OS being installed accesses the Bios and alter its settings. The Bios can be accessed by a user when a system is started or rebooted which is prior to a system beginning to load the OS while booting up.
