Automatic quarantining instead of asking me what to do. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Using the final version of WLOC 2, is there any way to set OneCare to just automatically quarantine virus's/spyware etc instead of asking me "what I want to do"? I don't mind being notified about any suspects but in the rare event I stumble across one of those "virus bombs" that throw several nasties at you at once, I rather not have WLOC have to wait for me to hit hit the "kill" button.

Or am I missing something obvious here?

  • Open One Care>Change Settings>Viruses and Spyware, and check the box that says "Take automatic actions against software rated moderate also". In the event you encounter multiple simultaneous threats One Care should block them all even while waiting for a response from you.
