ASP.NET Calendar control - Chrome does not obey cell height CSS directive RRS feed

  • Question

  • Using the standard Microsoft Calendar control in an ASP.NET Forms project.  It's my understanding that this calendar should be styled like a typical table.  However, setting <td> height: 65px is completely disregarded in Google Chrome. However the height is displayed properly in Firefox, IE 11, Safari and Edge.  Does anyone know the proper CSS to handle this anomaly?

    Abbreviated HTML:

    <asp:Calendar ID="mainCalendar" runat="server" CSSClass="conCalendar">...

    Abbreviated CSS:

    .conCalendar {

        margin: 0 auto;

        text-align: center;

    .conCalendar td {

        height: 65px;

    Note: Tried adding "table-layout:fixed;" to conCalendar style, but still have the same problem.
