    My boss has Windows Live Onecare on my work computer and it is up for renewal.  She is very ill right now and having chemo and I do not have her email password to be able to renew.  Neither does her husband.  What can I or her husband do to renew this subscription?

  • The simplest thing to do would be to let the current subscription expire and obtain a retail copy of OneCare and reinstall, using the retail key to activate a new subscription or reinstall OneCare and purchase (at full retail price) a new subscription with a new LiveID. You may be able to contact support and provide credit card information to add to the account, but that would mean that it would be auto-renewed every 12 months until the subscription is canceled.
