  • Question

  • Hi All,
Global settings for archiving set to Per User.

Can anyone tell me where I can see the log files ? i.e. Chat history !

I know in sql it stores in lcslog.Messages table (like that).

But I am having a user 'test' on machine testMachine.

I am chatting with him. And he wants to see the chat history !

    Thanks in Advance !!!

    Happy Holi !!!

  • The 'Conversation History' is stored in each user's Exchange mailbox (if enabled), while the Archive data is stored in SQL (as you mentioned) and can only be viewed via SQL queries; it's not designed for the end user to search themselves.

  • No, other than the Conversation History mailbox folder OC does not keep a text file with IM history on the local computer like Live Messenger or some other public IM clients do.

  • There is a third party app the can be installed that allows end users to search their own archive. A google search will find it for you, I dont have the link handy on this PC. Good Luck.
